You will have a room and bathroom for yourself, or shared with someone else. Nothing is mandatory; if you need rest throughout the day, you can always withdraw.
All transportation is covered after the moment you land at the airport. We’ll come and pick you up, and drop you off again following the retreat.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all taken care of. There will also be snacks available during workshops and throughout the day.
You’ll have full access to workshops and to our workshop materials, so you can facilitate, and use a variety of resources during and after the retreat.

Hi, I’m Michiel!
Without really knowing it, I’ve been facilitating and hosting workshops for years now. A while back I decided to make it my main focus.
You’re probably wondering how this could happen without me really knowing?
Well…
It was just part of my job and I did not really think about it.
I have a background in IT. I started as a software developer and later transitioned into the role of a functional analyst and scrum master.
Mainly during my period as an analyst and scrum master, I’ve been hosting lots of workshops; requirements gathering, team alignment, retrospectives,… you name it!
A while back I wanted to explore new challenges I did not really like getting down in the nitty-gritty details of the requirements gathering during the analysis process anymore.
So I started to look around what I could do next.
Then it hit me, I’ve been “facilitating” for years without ever really noticing it.
So I decided to move away from the nitty-gritty details and started learning about building and hosting my own custom workshops.
This allowed me to stay involved in the problem-solving process, without having to provide all the answers.
Now I try to help teams build the right products, faster. With the help of both custom and existing workshops, like the Design Sprint!
For me personally learning about facilitation was an eye-opener. It gave me a clear path forward.
I’m currently working on totally shifting my business there and that is what this retreat is all about, figuring out how to turn this passion into a business.

Hey!
My name is Katrien and I’m from Belgium. I have a background in architecture and run my own facilitation business that guides companies through transitions to improved workplaces. Whether they want to upgrade their existing location, move to a new one, perform renovations, or even build a new place, I’m there to help. You can see me as a connection between a company and a realtor or architect.
I co-created this retreat because I love connecting people and I’ve experienced how powerful an in-person event can be.
The last event I went to was mind blowing, and to be honest not because of the speakers they invited. But it was so powerful because I was able to connect with like-minded people and grow together. So much beauty came out of it and this retreat is only one byproduct of it. I’ve had the opportunity to do a workshop in the heart of London, a workshop at the Google office in Brussels, I’ve facilitated retreats and I’m currently also active in hosting another event where I will be facilitating workshops with the community too.
So far, Michiel and I have created this amazing offer and we’re really excited about it all. We have great ideas, some of which we cannot share yet, that would be telling.

We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, and you may be unable to attend the event. If you notify us of your cancellation at least 30 days before the retreat start date, we will provide you with a full refund minus administrative fees from 3th parties.
If you cancel within 30 days of the retreat start date, we will issue a full refund only if we are able to fill your spot. However, if we are unable to do so, we will refund 50% of your payment.
All additional fees and taxes, such as tourist tax, are included.

Yes, just let us know if you need one and we can set up an invoice for you.
Yes, there will be. A few weeks before we will send out a survey in which you can fill out where and when you will land. We will arrange a taxi/ shuttle service to get you to and from the venue.
We are aiming for full capacity of 40 attendees.
Our shuttle service offers pick up from Brussels Airport Zaventem and Eindhoven Airport. If you’re arriving at a different location, such as Amsterdam, you can take a train to the nearest pick up location (in this case, Eindhoven).
Please note that you will need to cover the cost of your train ticket.

It will be a relaxing environment, a summercamp for entrepeneurs.
Pack comfortable clothing for the event, and feel free to bring one or two professional outfits for personal content. During the retreat, a photographer will be on-site to capture images of you that you can use to showcase your work and attract future clients.
This retreat is open to anyone interested in facilitation, whether you’re new to the field or an expert. By coming together in this atmosphere, you’ll gain confidence, receive feedback from experts and like-minded individuals, and form lifelong connections.
When you purchase your ticket (whether it’s for a shared or single room), you can also add a free ticket to your basket as an internal speaker. After your purchase, we will reach out to you to discuss the topic you would like to cover and other details. We will select three candidates for internal speakers based on the interests of the attendees.
